Avenir continues to evolve with enhancements that give travelers the most direct access to the content they need while giving organizations more flexibility in how they manage their programs.
The latest updates include continued expansion into global markets, a smoother rail and hotel experience, and new capabilities designed to simplify travel program administration and payments.
Broader Global Reach
Avenir supports customers in 43 countries today, and three new points of sale in Brazil, India, and Malaysia extend its reach even further, laying the groundwork for continued global expansion.
Each new market supports local ticketing requirements and expands access to relevant airline content, including NDC. In India, the addition of ClearTrip also provides access to more local content, while Razorpay supports local payment requirements. Brazilian Portuguese has also been added as an available language within the online booking tool.
Together, these additions help multinational organizations manage travel through a single global platform while supporting the content, currencies, ticketing, and other requirements of individual markets.
A Smoother Traveler Experience
Several updates make it easier for travelers to find and book the options they need.
Eurostar is now available directly within the Rail tab, giving travelers direct access to Eurostar fares alongside other rail options without navigating between different parts of the booking experience.
Travelers can also select seats during the booking process on supported UK rail routes, including LNER, Avanti West Coast, Great Western Railway, and Lumo. This gives travelers greater choice upfront and reduces the need for post-booking seat requests.
Hotel searches are getting even easier, too. Frequently used filters have been reorganized to make relevant options easier to find, with popular hotel brands displayed more prominently and commonly used preferences, such as kitchenette options for extended stays, moved higher in the search filters. These updates help travelers narrow their options more efficiently and find the right hotel with fewer clicks.
Easier Everyday Administration
Travel managers can now search and filter legal entities by name, view legal entity IDs directly within Avenir, and export entity data for reporting and integrations. For organizations managing numerous legal entities, these enhancements make information easier to find and reduce administrative effort.
Avenir has also expanded its split-payment capabilities. For eligible ancillary purchases, travelers can now use an individually assigned corporate card alongside a personal card. This provides more flexibility when managing mixed business and personal expenses, and helps keep in-policy expenses on the appropriate payment method.
