Miami, FL, June 23, 2014 – Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, announced today it has entered into a strategic alliance with Direct Travel, Inc., the business travel management provider ranked among the top corporate travel management companies in the U.S., to deliver distribution services and support.
In addition to global distribution, Direct Travel will utilize the Amadeus Selling Platform, the world’s most widely used point-of-sale platform for travel professionals. Amadeus’ flagship browser-based, content-rich retailing application makes it faster, easier and more efficient for travel professionals to sell and serve travelers. Amadeus and Direct Travel will also be exploring potential opportunities to partner on future technology initiatives.
