Wendy Crist is a retired music educator who dedicated 23 years to teaching in the Boardman Local School District in Boardman, Ohio. Throughout her career, she taught elementary music, middle school vocal, and music appreciation.
Wendy earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Youngstown State University in 1987 and her Master of Music degree in 1991. She is a proud 1982 graduate of New Brighton High School in New Brighton, PA.
Wendy was a dedicated band parent throughout her daughter’s high school years. During that time, she developed a passion for helping students experience the connection between travel and the arts, broadening their understanding of music beyond the classroom. As a longtime member of The Ohio Music Education Association, Wendy has remained committed to music education and supporting
opportunities that enrich her community through the arts.
