John Coffman is the Chief Corporate Development & Business Officer of Direct Travel, a leading corporate travel management company delivering innovative solutions for business travel programs worldwide.
A Certified Public Accountant, John brings over 30 years of experience, including 13 years in public accounting and nearly two decades in senior finance and corporate leadership roles. In his current role, John is responsible for leading enterprise growth initiatives, corporate development, strategic partnerships, and long-term business planning to support Direct Travel’s continued expansion and evolution.
Previously, John served as Chief Financial Officer of Direct Travel, where he oversaw the company’s financial strategy, reporting, and operational discipline, while playing a key role in mergers and acquisitions and long-term planning.
Prior to joining Direct Travel, John was Vice President of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) for five years, where he led the completion of seven acquisitions across four continents.
Earlier in his career, John held senior finance roles at Navigant over a nine-year period, ultimately serving as Chief Accounting Officer. He began his career at Price Waterhouse, where he spent 12 years on the Audit and Business Advisory team, managing numerous auditing and acquisition engagements.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
