Personal information that you choose to provide to other sites will be subject to the privacy policies of that website.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

DT.com collects and stores personal contact and credit card information in order to complete reservations, requests or registrations on our website. At all times, required fields will be clearly marked. We may also ask you for optional information regarding your likes and dislikes to further customize our website to better suit your needs. Although this information is not required, we do encourage customers to complete all forms before submission. Your optional information will not have any effect on the primary goal of each form but is helpful in determining your preferences.

For reservations made through the DirectLink +Plus managed travel solution, DT.com discloses personal contact, credit and reservation information to the travel manager in charge of the customer's corporate account. Use of this information is determined by each corporation's privacy policies.

DT.com may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on DT.com, its parent company or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of DT.com, its parent company, the site or the users of DT.com, and (c) act under circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of DT.com, the site or the public. In the event that our company or this site or certain of our assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets.

During a Customer's Site Visit:

Without collecting any information that could personally identify our patrons, DT.com collects general shopping pattern information in order to analyze general traffic trends, gather broad demographic information and administer the site. This information includes, but is not limited to, our visitors' ISP address, the type of browser visitors are using and the website from which visitors have arrived. This type of information will never be combined with other, personally identifiable information that we may have

When a Customer creates a Profile:

DT.com's Internet Profile Manager (IPM) requires entry of personal traveler data such as name, place of business, telephone and credit card information to expedite travel reservations and comply with each traveler's corporate travel management policies. This information may be transmitted between DT.com and certain third party websites and/or technologies to facilitate the travel management process. Information transmitted and contained within each user's IPM profile is utilized solely to complete air, car or hotel reservations requested by the traveler.

When a Customer Makes an Air, Car or Hotel Reservation:

Once a customer has found an available air, hotel or car reservation and submitted their reservation request, that person's contact, reservation and credit card information is received and processed by the DT.com fulfillment center. This information may be shared with each traveler's corporate travel manager and may also be transmitted between DT.com and certain third party websites and/or technologies to facilitate the travel management process. Collection of this information is necessary to guarantee the reservation's rate and availability as well as to forward applicable tickets and confirmations to the traveler. DT.com reserves the right to verify the submitted credit card account information and the status of the customer's employment if using the DirectLink +Plus managed travel solution.

When a Customer Registers for the DT.com Email Newsletter:

Site visitors may elect to subscribe to DT.com's email newsletter by submitting their name, company name and email address. This information will be used solely for the purpose of distributing said Travel Newsletter.

When a Customer Participates in a DT.com Online Survey:

In an effort to better serve our existing and future members, DT.com occasionally offers participation in optional end user surveys. All information collected through these surveys is used solely to monitor customer satisfaction in our service. No personal information will ever be matched to survey responses. If DT.com offers a survey hosted by a third party, all use of information other than that described above will be addressed within the survey correspondence or form.

SECURITY:

Any time VTS Travel Enterprises, Inc. requires a customer to enter credit card information, that transaction will take place on an SSL encrypted, secure server. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, you can always check the bottom of your browser for a "locked" icon in the status bar. This "lock" means you are in a secure server environment where information sent between your computer and ours is encrypted against prying eyes.

HOW TO OPT-OUT / UNSUBSCRIBE:

With the exception of the Email Newsletter, the personal information collected by DT.com is for the purpose of facilitating a travel reservation or related transaction on behalf of the traveler's company. Corporate travelers may explore 'opting-out' of these corporate travel services by contacting his or her company's travel management department. Travelers may opt out of the Email Newsletter by following the opt-out instructions sent with each message.
