Saundra Sanders
Executive Vice President/Director of Account Management
Saundra Sanders is
executive vice president/director of account management for Directravel, a
leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and
innovations in business travel to its clients. She is directly responsible for
bottom line profits through the negotiation, management and implementation of
supplier discounts. Sanders has helped Directravel grow to one of the top ten
largest business travel companies in the United States, according to Business
Travel News in 2007.
Sanders joined Directravel, then VTS Travel Direct, in 1990, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the airline and travel industries to her position. Sanders has successfully negotiated with all airlines, hotels and car rental agencies to provide value to clients while increasing Directravel's financial stability.
Prior to joining Directravel, Sanders worked as national sales manager for both Continental Eastern Sales and System One, Inc. Sanders earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Monmouth University.
Jim Hayes
Executive Vice President of Vendor Negotiations
Jim Hayes is Executive Vice President
of Vendor Negotiations for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management
company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its
clients. Hayes is responsible for exploring additional opportunities with
Directravel’s current vendors as well as developing new partnerships with
airlines, car rental companies and hotels.
Hayes brings more than 30 years of experience in business development, contract negotiations and sales management to his position. Prior to joining Directravel, Hayes has held various leadership positions within the industry, including General Manager, Agency Sales for Delta Air Lines in New York City and was the past president of the Airline Sales Manager Association of New York. He is currently a member of SKAL New York.
He resides in Hawthorne, NJ with his family and enjoys travel, history, home improvement projects and gardening.
Rose M. Di Bari
Vice President of Marketing
Rose M. Di Bari is vice
president of marketing for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management
company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its
clients. Di Bari oversees all marketing initiatives for Directravel and was
instrumental in the development of the marketing strategy surrounding the
company's re-branding from VTS Travel Direct to Directravel.
Di Bari joined the company in 2006, bringing more than 10 years of experience in communications and marketing to her position. Di Bari is responsible for brand and product marketing strategy and implementation, as well as all collateral and advertising initiatives.
Prior to joining Directravel, Di Bari served as senior manager of marketing communications for World Access Service Corp. She earned her master's degree in English literature from Hofstra University. Di Bari graduated cum laude from Adelphi University with a bachelor's degree in English. Di Bari enjoys reading, writing fiction, photography and spending time with her family.
Gail Boyer
Vice President, Administration
Gail Boyer is vice president of
administration for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company
that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients.
Boyer is responsible for all administrative actions and reports directly to
Directravel president Pat Fragale and Vincent Vitti/Chairman/CEO. Directravel
has grown into one of the top ten largest business travel companies in the
United States, according to Business Travel News.
Boyer joined Directravel, then VTS Travel Direct, in 1989 Assistant to the VP of Operations. In 1992 she was then promoted to the Assistant to the President/Owner of VTS, Mr. Vincent Vitti. until she was promoted to her current position in 2006.
Prior to joining Directravel, Boyer worked as director of travel agency sales for Loews Hotels, as well as director of marketing for "Windows on the World" for Hilton.
Boyer attended the University of Rhode Island where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nutrition.
