Vincent E. Vitti

Vincent E. Vitti is chairman and CEO of Directravel, a corporate travel management company that provides leading-edge business travel solutions and innovations to its clients. Vitti is responsible for directing the company's strategic development and technology innovation. Vitti founded Directravel, then VTS Travel Enterprises, Inc., in 1980 when he executed one of the first leveraged buyouts in the travel industry and purchased the travel division of Citibank. In 1990, Vince sold a portion of the company to his employees, making Directravel the first employee-owned major travel management company in the county.
An industry leader, Vitti has spoken at the Masters Conference in Washington, DC and is a member of the Continental Advisory Board. He was also named to the Business Travel News "Top 25 Most Influential Executives in the Travel Industry."
Vitti began his career as financial systems manager for Technicon Corporation, later joining International Food Service Systems as data processing director. Prior to co-founding Directravel, he served as assistant vice president of systems and data processing for Citibank before being appointed vice president and general manager of Citicorp Travel Services Division in 1978.
Vitti is a graduate of Fordham University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Patrick Fragale
President
Patrick Fragale is president of Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Fragale oversees all business operations. Through sales account development and client relations, Fragale has helped to position Directravel as a leader in corporate travel management services. Fragale joined Directravel, then VTS Travel Direct, in 1998 as executive vice president. He was named president in 2000. Fragale brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industries to his position at Directravel. He has overseen the growth and development of the company including introducing the Travology™ philosophy, testing and standards, new corporate travel management services and innovative online travel management tools.
Fragale currently serves on the Advisory Boards for Galileo, a travel technology solutions company, and Continental Airlines. He has previously served on the advisory board for United Airlines, and several organizational boards including Meeting Planners International, Travel & Hospitality and the Maryland Hotel & Motel Association.
Prior to joining Directravel, Fragale served as general manager, vice president/director of operations for the Marriott, Sheraton and Renaissance brands and for Prime Hospitality, a financier company, in Fairfield, NJ. An avid golfer, skier and outdoorsman, Fragale is a resident of Lake Hopatcong, NJ.
Edward A. Vitti
Managing Director
Edward A. Vitti is managing director for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Vitti is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and oversees Directravel's operations including financial and accounting system controls and standards. Directravel is one of the top ten largest business travel companies in the United States, according to Business Travel News.
Vitti brings more than 15 years of experience working in corporate travel management to Directravel. Prior to joining Directravel, Vitti was president and co-founder of First Internet Travel, a collection of over 1,000 Web sites selling directly to the consumer that was recently sold to Cendant. Vitti has contributed to various boards and holds a degree in business administration.
Vitti enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include golfing, boating and spending summers at the Jersey shore with his family.
José Tejedor
Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing
José Tejedor is executive vice president of sales and marketing for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Tejedor oversees the company's national sales force, establishing new markets, sales goals and strategy. He is responsible for managing Directravel's brand strategy, marketing outreach and telemarketing operations. Tejedor brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing to his position, in addition to 15 years experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Prior to Directravel, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Medieval Times Management in Lyndhurst, NJ. He previously worked for Prime Hospitality Corporation, Newport Hotels, Inc., Princess Hotels International, Inc. and Loews Hotels Corporation. Tejedor earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Empire State College in Sarasota Springs, NY and his MBA from Amberton University.
Tejedor, a resident of Monroe, NY, plays soccer and enjoys traveling with his family.
Saundra Sanders
Executive Vice President/Director of Account Management
Saundra Sanders is executive vice president/director of account management for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. She is directly responsible for bottom line profits through the negotiation, management and implementation of supplier discounts. Sanders has helped Directravel grow to one of the top ten largest business travel companies in the United States, according to Business Travel News in 2007.
Sanders joined Directravel, then VTS Travel Direct, in 1990, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the airline and travel industries to her position. Sanders has successfully negotiated with all airlines, hotels and car rental agencies to provide value to clients while increasing Directravel's financial stability.
Prior to joining Directravel, Sanders worked as national sales manager for both Continental Eastern Sales and System One, Inc. Sanders earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Monmouth University.
Jim Hayes
Executive Vice President of Vendor Negotiations
Jim Hayes is Executive Vice President of Vendor Negotiations for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Hayes is responsible for exploring additional opportunities with Directravel’s current vendors as well as developing new partnerships with airlines, car rental companies and hotels.
Hayes brings more than 30 years of experience in business development, contract negotiations and sales management to his position. Prior to joining Directravel, Hayes has held various leadership positions within the industry, including General Manager, Agency Sales for Delta Air Lines in New York City and was the past president of the Airline Sales Manager Association of New York.
Hayes is working towards his bachelor’s degree in business administration from William Paterson College of New Jersey. He resides in Hawthorne, NJ.
John Guidera
Vice President, Finance
John Guidera is vice president of finance for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Guidera is responsible for the financial well-being of Directravel, in addition to overseeing all accounting, billing and contracts with vendors.
Guidera joined Directravel, then VTS Travel Direct, in 2002 as a controller. He assumed his current position in 2006. Guidera brings more than 15 years of experience to his position at Directravel. Prior to joining the company he worked as a controller at both Pro-Travel and Englewood Travel.
Guidera earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Peter's College. He is currently a resident of North Haledon, NJ.
Rose M. Di Bari
Vice President of Marketing
Rose M. Di Bari is vice president of marketing for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Di Bari oversees all marketing initiatives for Directravel and was instrumental in the development of the marketing strategy surrounding the company's re-branding from VTS Travel Direct to Directravel.
Di Bari joined the company in 2006, bringing more than 10 years of experience in communications and marketing to her position. Di Bari is responsible for brand and product marketing strategy and implementation, as well as all collateral and advertising initiatives.
Prior to joining Directravel, Di Bari served as senior manager of marketing communications for World Access Service Corp. She earned her master's degree in English literature from Hofstra University. Di Bari graduated cum laude from Adelphi University with a bachelor's degree in English. Di Bari enjoys reading, writing fiction, photography and spending time with her family.
Gail Boyer
Vice President, Administration
Gail Boyer is vice president of administration for Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company that provides solutions and innovations in business travel to its clients. Boyer is responsible for all administrative actions and reports directly to Directravel president Pat Fragale and Vincent Vitti/Chairman/CEO. Directravel has grown into one of the top ten largest business travel companies in the United States, according to Business Travel News.
Boyer joined Directravel, then VTS Travel Direct, in 1989 Assistant to the VP of Operations. In 1992 she was then promoted to the Assistant to the President/Owner of VTS, Mr. Vincent Vitti. until she was promoted to her current position in 2006.
Prior to joining Directravel, Boyer worked as director of travel agency sales for Loews Hotels, as well as director of marketing for "Windows on the World" for Hilton.
Boyer attended the University of Rhode Island where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nutrition.
Michael N. Peragino
Director of Information Technology
Michael N. Peragino is director of information technology for Directravel, a corporate travel management company that provides cutting-edge business travel solutions and innovations to its clients. Peragino joined Directravel in March 2008 and is responsible for identifying new technologies and equipment to maintain Directravel’s reputation of information security and service excellence. He is also responsible for maintaining and updating all information systems company wide, staff recruitment, resource allocation and staff assessment as well as providing customer support to both internal staff and clients.
Peragino brings more than 20 years of experience in the information technology and financial services industries to his position. Prior to joining Directravel, Peragino worked as the Director of Information Technology for UT Financial, where he set policy and direction for the management of application integration, project management office, server operations, network support and all telecommunications.
Peragino has expertise in various systems and application software programs and routing and network management.
Peragino received a BS in Finance from the City University of New York. A resident of Lincroft, NJ, he enjoys spending time with his children, sports, music, history and political science.
