VTSTravelDirect.com's Internet Profile Manager (IPM) requires entry of personal traveler data such as name, place of business, telephone and credit card information to expedite travel reservations and comply with each traveler's corporate travel management policies. This information may be transmitted between VTSTravelDirect.com and certain third party websites and/or technologies to facilitate the travel management process. Information transmitted and contained within each user's IPM profile is utilized solely to complete air, car or hotel reservations requested by the traveler.
When a Customer Makes an Air, Car or Hotel Reservation:
Once a customer has found an available air, hotel or car reservation and submitted their reservation request, that person's contact, reservation and credit card information is received and processed by the VTSTravelDirect.com fulfillment center. This information may be shared with each traveler's corporate travel manager and may also be transmitted between VTSTravelDirect.com and certain third party websites and/or technologies to facilitate the travel management process. Collection of this information is necessary to guarantee the reservation's rate and availability as well as to forward applicable tickets and confirmations to the traveler. VTSTravelDirect.com reserves the right to verify the submitted credit card account information and the status of the customer's employment if using the DirectLink Next Generation managed travel solution.
When a Customer Registers for the VTSTravelDirect.com Email Newsletter:
Site visitors may elect to subscribe to VTSTravelDirect.com's email newsletter by submitting their name, company name and email address. This information will be used solely for the purpose of distributing said Travel Newsletter.
When a Customer Participates in a VTSTravelDirect.com Online Survey:
In an effort to better serve our existing and future members, VTSTravelDirect.com occasionally offers participation in optional end user surveys.
