Hilton Joins Marriott in Restrictive 48-hour Cancellation Rule     Travel Skills

Starting July 31, you’ll have to cancel your Hilton hotel reservation a minimum of two days ahead of time or face paying full price for that first night. That’s right. All Hilton brands will soon join Marriott/Starwood in this restrictive new 48-hour cancellation policy.

All 50 States Set for REAL ID Compliance Deadline

As you may remember, in January 2018, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will begin implementing the final phase of the so-called REAL ID Act.

 

We are pleased to report that all eight previously non-compliant states have been granted extensions by DHS, meaning that residents of these states will be allowed to present state-issued driver's licenses as identification for air travel.
